Beauty Scheme:Myolie Wu:doesn't bother about rumours with Shao Feng

Myolie isn't bothered about the rumours when she works with Feng Shao Feng.

Ent.163 exclusive reports. On 15th, Myolie Wu accepted Ent.163 exclusive interview. Beauty Scheme is Myolie's first drama in China. Her co-actor is China's Siu Sang, Feng Shao Feng, whom she has worked with in The Drive of Life and had rumours with. Myolie expressed that both of them are just friends. During filming, she isn't bothered about the rumours and isn't worried that her "good friend" Bosco Wong will be jealous. 

Working with Feng Shao Feng, isn't bothered about rumours

Ent.163: Let's talk about your character in Beauty Scheme.

Myolie: Luk Yu is actually from a noble family, but because her mother is not the first wife, they have been chased out of the palace. Her mother is a gambler. Since young, Luk Yu has been selling fish to make a living. Then she met Feng Shao Feng who is acting as General. He is attracted by Luk Yu's gentleness and strong character. For the sake of his own career, my brother match-made us, but in the end, he had a misunderstanding with Feng Shao Feng's character. The wedding day was supposed to be happy but because he thought that Luk Yu has lied to him, he became unhappy. of course, in the end, it is a happy ending. 

163: This is your first time filming in China, what attracted you to film this drama?

M: In the recent years, there hasn't been any big productions in China where the ladies are the leads. I have been wanting to work with Yu Zheng and he has approached me many times but my schedule hasn't been able to work out. In August last year, i happened to be free so i thought why not try filming a drama in Chinese, and treat it as a training session. 

163: Do you have any different feelings when you say your lines for the first time in Chinese?

M: I was quite nervous during the first scene. Initially it feels weird, but now, it feels more fluent. The filming was quite smooth, no NG. I am quite satisfied with myself. 

163: You have the most scenes with Feng Shao Feng in the drama. The last time both of you worked together was in The Drive of life and there were rumours about both of you. Was it awkward working together again?

M: No, we are quite good friends and didn't bother about the rumours and fake stories.

163: Do you more interactions with Feng Shao Feng? Are you worried that Bosco Wong will be jealous?

M: There were more interactions because my scenes are with him. I already said we are good friends, so why would there be jealousy?

No need to play with one's mind when filming Beauty Scheme

163: There are many ladies scenes in Beauty Scheme. Will the ladies be fighting for attention? How will one let her role stand out?

M: We are acting according to the script, doesn't have to snatch and can't snatch too. In the drama, every role has its own character and distinguish feature. Hence, doesn't have to specially think of how to stand out.

163: Heard that the pay is higher when filming in China instead of Hong Kong?

M: Can't say that, the filming process and other factors in China and Hong Kong are different, can't say which side pays more.

163: Is it more tiring and hard filming in Hong Kong or China?

M: I feel that it is different. I can't go home when i film in China, and this is hard. In Hong Kong, the filming process might be longer but i can go home. This is a different situation.

163: What are your next plans in your work?

M: "Happy Mother in law, Pretty daughter in law" will end the filming tomorrow. I will return to Hong Kong and in April, i will be filming a modern drama.
