TVB Weekly #669 - Myolie Wu Couldn't Sleep Because Of Imitation

Myolie Wu seldom does imitations of others for comedy purposes. This time, she would be working with Wong Cho Lam, Johnson Lee and Louis Yuen. She would be imitating the deceased mega-star, Anita Mui, while the three men would be imitating Grasshopper, and they would be performing "Love General (愛將)". Before the performance, she did a lot of preparation work. Myolie said, "Before I went onto the program, I discussed with the producer, Cho Lam and others. We wished to find a well-respected person who's symbolic, and everyone thought of Anita Mui. And in the song, the images of both Anita Mui and Grasshopper were very bright and refreshing. Thus when this song was chosen, the colleagues from the costume and make-up departments were examining on how to make the image more believable and alike. But in order to imitate Mui-Jeh, I went online to search for old clips to look at. After all, I seldom imitate others, so I felt very nervous. I couldn't sleep on the night before."
