Netizens' Revenge on Myolie Wu - Boycott Series & Won't Vote For Her

Yesterday Myolie Wu posted a picture of her with eldest sister (Wu Ho Yee) and her brother-in-law on Weibo. She said: "I'm here today in Sham Shui Po to support my brother-in-law!" However shortly after, the picture was deleted, but was actively reposted on other social networks and discussion forums. Myolie's brother-in-law is a member of the  (pro-Beijing political party). Netizens who do not support the party, concentrated the attacks on Myolie. Some people expressed they were disappointed in Myolie, while others are boycotting her series. Some Netizens wanted to take revenge too, and won't be voting for her at this year's TVB Anniversary Awards for TV Queen. HK Golden discussion forum took the lead and voted Myolie as the actress with the most criticisms this year. 

Reporters contacted Myolie to ask if she felt unhappy to get scolded at because of her brother-in-law? Myolie replied through SMS: "I don't know much about politics, I'm just there to support my family. My brother-in-law is very hardworking!" As Myolie angered Netizens, and they wanted to take revenge on her by not voting for her at the TVB Anniversary Awards this year? She said: "I will not respond to other questions." 

Myolie is one of the popular actresses in the TV Queen race. Aside from being obedient to TVB and getting promoted by the company, she also had many series this year. She already had 3 series broadcast this year including Wish and Switch, House of Harmony and Vengeance andGhetto Justice II. She just completed new series Seasons of Love and is currently shooting grand production Triumph in the Skies II. After the incident this time, it may affect her chances of becoming a TV Queen again.
